I would say NA 1.8 as it's the best of the bunch. It's better looking than the nb and feels a bit more basic, which is a nice thing in my eyes.
This quote on another thread had me up in arms, I can't see why people think NA's are better looking than NBs? So which generation is the best looking in your opinion? I'm including nicely modified cars in this too...

NA and NC are my favorite.. There are some great modified examples of both too:

This is currently my personal favorite:

I can't vote as the NBB option isn't there. I'm not a fan of the NB (Mk2) but the NBB (Mk2.5) fixed the looks for me (which is why I bought one).

The Mk1, all the way... until the Mk3.5 (not the Mk3).

Although I've just bought a MK1 I do think its a very pretty little car, clean and uncluttered lines. The latest with the built in fatter wheel arches doesn't do it for me.

This.

I don't mind no one prefering the MK2.. Its more exclusive to us, we're an elite group.

Don't get angry because you bought the wrong one. wink

I supposed it depends if you prefer the simple lines of the NA (and NC) to the curves of the NB. Personally I'm NA/NC, but it's horses for courses isn't it.

I'm not too proud to admit that most people prefer the NA. HOWEVER, I'd like to know the reasons why. To me, those pop up head lights make it look like some kind of childs car and age it very very badly.

I can see the point, the lights being round and potentially boggle eyed but overall I think the cleaner line of the car compared to the NB outweighs that fact. The pop up lights when viewed from inside the car however are the second more awesome thing in the world.

Mk2.5 for me.
It sorted the bits on the Mk2 I didn't like.

I am biased though! wink

Might be Buddyclub P1's.

Despite owning a Mk1, I prefer the look of the Mk2.5 - at least in standard form, tastefully modified Mk1s are just as good though.

NB for me (again biased!). The NA looks a little dated to me, and the NC is a bit bloated. All of them are pretty good looking though.

Owning an NA, you may say I'm bias in voting for it. But I'm not. The reason I bought it is because it's the better looking car! :-P I do prefer the rear end of the NB sometimes. Oh, and definitely prefer the rear end of a Eunos over the UK spec NA, it just doesn't look right..

NC just looks like a fatty, but in years to come when they're cheaper I'm sure I wouldn't mind owning an RC version of it, a non leaking convertible sounds like a good idea to me wink
