.... just how hard can it be?
There is obviously money to be made, I am thinking something along the lines of TESLA for the average man.
Maybe based on an MX5 and a hatchback like a fiesta etc?
Am I talking utter drivel or can we do it, I can invest, just get a few others.

We could sell to London socialites and business men with there eye on the future...
I would say there are people on PH who have contacts in the media as well as suppliers for any parts or materials we may need.
There are mechanics, designers and finance brained people as well as a HUGE community of Automotive enthusiasts...

i'm in. my design proposal:
carbon mk1 mini body & chassis - choice of period colours & trim
double wishbone suspension all round
single high HP mid mounted motor driving rear wheels only
front mounted lithium battery pack
cooking version would see twin motors; one for each rear wheel; mounted inboard on half shafts. batteries replaced with micro-turbine generating set and 'take anything flammable' fuel tank.

Yes, Gas turbines accept most commercial fuels, gasoline, natural gas, propane, diesel, and kerosene as well as renewable fuels such as E85, biodiesel and biogas.

ZOLLER: As well as being battery supplier he will be working closely with Shirt in the Design Department, When he's not he will be resident test driver.
The Crack Fox: Will be in charge of International Marketing and will be operating from his local, where he will liaise with the press etc

I propose we work to the following financial projection:
Now obviously the huge dip just after 'Return to Normal' will be when governments realise that the public are now fully bought into electric vehicles and add exactly the same duty to electricity used for road vehicles as they do to petrol or diesel and the market instantly gets killed, so we need to sell out to a major manufacturer at the 'New Paradigm III' phase and retire to the Caymans.

I am happy to form a eccentric Dutch super car company, which can then buy-out your electric car company, after which my super car company sells itself to another company that then builds the original super-cars. The investors won't know what hit them, by the time they've realised, I'll be nowhere to be seen with all the money and you'll end up in a desert somewhere.
