Can anyone recommend somewhere/someone who would provide a credible PPI service on a 2002 Murcielago?

Many thanks in advance.

I wasn't impressed with Peter Morgan, missed many faults on my Porsche.

I would advise using a company along the lines of Verdi who regularly service/maintain them and get the car over to them.

Very nice ... not sure about "The car will be totally re-set up using our Lamborghini diagnostic equipment ("LARS" FACTORY SYSTEM) the cost of this work by a Lamborghini dealer would be in excess of £10,000. This has to be a major consideration and huge plus point, for anyone considering the purchase of this vehicle"

Never knew Murcis needed to be "re-set up" "£10k" reset up for what??

Nice car good luck

To the original poster, I would recommend you Google Amari/Sheikh Amari/Sant Agata Classics before handing ANY money over to them.

I did, clearly a lot of folks don't like him for some reason, and he appears to have a bit of a chequered past but from your tone it seems I may have missed the really bad stuff.

OK, done a bit more research and I'm not interested in opening up an Amari bashing thread here. So, hopefully no more on that topic. Let's focus on the car please smile

I guess what concerns me most about that particular one is its lack of use over the last few years and what that might throw up as problems once the car starts to get some regular use again.

OK, so here's the real question: F430 Spider, early Murcielago or Diablo 6.0 VT?

Any opinions on that one?

How can you compare an 8 cylinder car with no roof to two 12 cylinder coupes that are also much wider ? Surely the whole experience will be completely different tho I suppose they have country of origin & engine location in common

Err shouldn't this question have been asked before you enquired about the Murcie, or are you not sure about what car you want now? IMO these are all different cars so it depends what you are looking for? smile

Probably, I'm a ditherer I guess, they're all lovely - suppose you could put a Gallardo Spyder into the mix too. Overall I think the Mrci tops it but as I said earlier in this thread I'm a little nervous of the Amari cars lack of use over the last 7 Years (1000 miles).

The kind of ppl that buy Supercars like the Murcie already have 3 or 4 cars in their garage (according to Winkleman) and so the Murcie may not get much use and this is considered normal.

With a used car I buy on condition, history and dealer reputation - if all 3 check out then you should be good to go... I'd always get a proper inspection done by someone like Verdi for peace of mind though. Especially when spending so much money.

There's a lot of cars in your mix and you might want to consider the practicality, running costs, depreciation (if you need to care about it), fun factor, etc of each, depending on what you want it for e.g. main car, second / weekend car.

I think the first thing to do if you are serious is drive them all then work out which one turns you on the most! The Murcie is intoxicating on all levels, not as nimble as F430 but doesn't need a soft top to have fun. It's also more exotic than F430 and would drink a lot more and is less practical. Haven't driven the G or the 6.0, but have heard the 6.0 can be a handful depending on your driving skills.
