I'll have a look under mine tomorrow Gary wink I've been looking at getting a Magnex exhaust for it.

Cheers.

I still have one of the heat shields above the exhaust backbox but the mounting points are completely rotted frown

I'm wondering what the cost of the replacement is going to be.

FYI Dave, the standard system is a Magnex (but not necessarily the same as the one you are looking at).

My mate says, "it was the parent company of Magnex (can't remember the name) who developed the ST220's system, at a very low cost - thus the poor-quality stainless and the run of single pipe where it needed a pair. I suppose the Magnex could be a very good system. If they spent a Ford budget developing the original, they should know where it needs to be better. Then again, Magnex went bust and was bought out, so who knows where the current system came from..."

In other news, I've uploaded a few more new videos to my YouTube channel if you wish to check them out. One of the ST topping 165mph smile

Sorry Gary I've been bloody ill, will get under the car today for you. Interesting on the Magnex exhaust, only problem with it is the tails are not OE style which is what I ideally wanted. I think they have all gone bust at some point, I know Janspeed did so I lost my warranty!! (although it is still going despite loads of rust on the flanges!!!)

Thanks for that Dave.

Now I can see how they fitted, and can confirm that mine are knackered, perhaps I could use a really big washer...

I think they've all fallen off my 02 plate car now. Also the offside rear silencer has rusted through pretty badly. Are they supposed to be stainless?
