Many congrats Steve!

I'm just disappointed a man of your calibre didn't take it to SVA himself

Maybe you have heard about my local SVA station, Southampton.
They do not like kitcars with a vengence.

Nice one Steve.

And you've got the whole summer to clock up some serious miles!

Congrats Steve

Now all you need is some good weather and a lot of petrol

Keep us informed - the first run upto the red line is the most memorable.

Congrats Steve, will you be using it for your Essex trips, or can't you claim 'that much' in petrol expenses????

Graham.

It gets better.
It's now registered as well.

So it's now sitting waiting for me at the factory but I can't pick it up until Friday.

Hi Steve,

I suppose you will drive it back home?
Quite a way for you.

Don't leave it too late on Friday, you know what the traffic's like in the afternoon!
Hope it's not raining.

Not taking the risk. It will come home on the trailer. Then I can take it out local to get used to it.

Well done buddy, but why don't go up and follow an empty trailer home in the Ult, so at least if it has a Prob ( Must admit unlikely but I know it's a confidence thing ) you can get it home. It's easy to drive slowly just take your time, and before you know it tail slidings and stupid grins will be the norm for exiting T Junctions......

No spare driver. Will be collecting on my own.
I think playing close to home will suit me fine.
Will be driving it to Cottesmore the following weekend for a family wedding.

Yeah, I have heard of them. I liked the quote of one of the inspectors there who allegedly said that in his opinion kitcars shouldn't be allowed on the road at all!

I was only teasing ... I took mine to SVA myself partly because it was going to cost both money and time to trailer it up to the factory, and partly for personal satisfaction. Having been to the local SVA station a year before with my Westy I knew the guys there were thoroughly decent blokes.
