I've just found out I'm free this weekend but I can't find any trackdays available. Anyone got any ideas??

Nordschliefe...(Where is that btw?) Should have got organised earlier.

I'm now sorted, I'm going on a massive southern county blat.

Aha. I wondered if that was it.

How far is it from Calais?

Are you taking in Goodwood too?
I'll pop in on the way home from APM if I get time.

270 miles. Of which the first 215 is motorway and the last 55 twisty A road.

I'm off to Bournemouth for lunch, via Salisbury and then on to Horsham for a barbie. If I'm around in time I might try and make Goodwood.

>>Dusty, we might cross paths. I'm planning on meeting up with Incorrigible en route, so if you see a yellow Ducati 748 chased by a blue/silver Caterham give us a wave.

Cheers Daz, it's probably a little too far for a day trip

Good opportunity to take in a lot of the A272 there.

Roads around Salisbury plain are also good if you get a chance to plan it in, the roads from there to Stockbridge are good. From Stockbridge its then a short drive to the A272 which you can take to Petersfield and then either take the windy route to Goodwood or carry straight on to Horsham.

Good weather for it to, but we wont mention that out loud.

D'oh!

I grew up near Stockbridge, and I've already worked out that exact route. Mail me your mobile number if you fancy meeting up.

Hope to have a go at this later in the year. First time must be fun, but I'm not sure it'll hold enough long term interest for a repeat. Unless you guys know different.

Took the day off Friday just for the purposes of driving and so didnt see your post. (assume you psted after I had logged off on Thurs).

Went to Goodwood to see what was on Friday and Club Fiorino (whatever) were there in 360s 575s Daytonas and F40.

Didnt make it on Saturday though as I got up late and had to get the car to a garage.

No worries. I didn't make it either, lunch near Ringwood was a tad more leisurely than I anticipated, and I also took a couple of people out for a blat on the way.

400 plus A road miles and a blast on a Ducati 748 (very)made for a pretty intense weekend

If you go into the flying club, shelf on the left, an A4 sheet listing ALL of the events/clubs and dates thruout the year.
