I've been considering a second hand car and the options were a Pug 206, Fiesta Zetec S or a Renault Megane 1.6.

The only thing that worries me about it is the high rear window and the fact that it's a 'girly car'.

All comments are appreciated.

I quite like them, but unfortunately every driver I have seen in one has either driven like a numpty or driven around with his front fog lights on. Be warned, you may get stereotyped by people like me ;-)

Otherwise I'm sure they're a fine car like most modern Renaults. New ones are probably quite good in a crash too.

The one I've seen is a 53 plate but the old shape. Would you suggest one over the other two cars?

Doh! I read your message as meaning the Scenic ... sorry.

Coupe - not a bad car I guess. Ragtops seem to attract the girlies. I do like the Megane like I said.

Fester Zetec - probably the best enthusiasts' drive
206 - don't do it unless you want to look like a chav
Megane - probably the sane choice of the three IMO

I had a 2.0 16V for a company car a while back

Loved it, but watch out for lift off oversteer...fun if you do in purpose though!

Great car, but poor build quality. Mine had been thrashed though. Rear visibility is OK.
