Damn I missed that in homes and gardens!!
I would say if you can fit your little finger/ Biro in the hole it's mice if you can fit thumb/marker pen then it's rats?!
Also the dropping, if the grain of rice or smaller then mice if it more like small peanut then rats!!
Let me know if you want poison/traps??
