1966 300SE - Value
Discussion
I may be presented with the opportunity of buying a 1966 300SE. I can't remember if it's the 2 or 4 door. It's in need of TLC, it's a burnt orange sort of colour but it's been sat under a tree for a long long time.
I know these appear to be very rare vehicles, and I believe the owner just wants rid of it, so what would one typically be worth in need of TLC, or as a non-runner at auction?
Thanks

If its a 300SE saloon looks as if it's quite rare.John Haynes has a fully restored '71 280SE saloon at £25k,anything upto double for a coupe.Very few basket cases forsale via http://www.mobile.de/home/index.html
I would imagine you will need very deep pockets for a restoration, still all old mercs have a strong value as spares source.Good Luck
