Advice On Watch Valuation & Safest Way To Sell
Discussion
Hello,
I’m looking for some advice & a valuation on my Omega watch that I need to part company with.
Can anyone give me an idea of the value of the watch please, and how to conduct a safe sale using the classified section on here.
The watch was bought as a gift from the local Omega dealer in Chichester in February 2008, and has stayed in the box unworn.
I appreciate that I have never posted on this forum before, and this may appear to be a cheeky first post, but would welcome any advice given.

Or have a look on www.watchrecon.com or www.elitedealseeker.com and stick the watch details into the search engine. Some may be in dollar/euro prices but it'll give you a good idea. Tend towards the higher end if unworn and complete with b&p.

The ref number shown on the Chronometer Certificate, Warranty and Pictograms cards is 25035000.
Its’ a Co-Axial movement so Automatic
I believe its the full size model.
Measurements taken with a digital caliper are as follows:
Face at widest part 33.82mm
Width of watch including crown 42.36mm
Total Thickness 11.69mm
Hope this helps.

The model number is 2503.50.00, it's a full size Aqua Terra Co-axial chronometer. It's a discontinued model, here's a link to the Omega site....

Your biggest challenge with a private ad is convincing people it's not a replica. Even Omega boxes and certificates can be purchased separately.
I have used the place where you Google "commission sell watches" for a watch service and a Rolex purchase. Serious buyers will go to these kind of places first as they can be assured of authenticity. Ten per cent commission sounds reasonable and you don;t have to deal with the buyer!

Hi there,
Yes the sandblasting type finish isn't a problem tho strictly speaking the sandblasting blasting media has been BANNED from most countries has been banned from the UK since 1950s(1949 Factories Act)due to nasty stuff called free silica.
