Has anyone had anything published and if so can you recommend a Literary Agent for a work of fiction?

Cheers!

I've used Create Space over with Amazon for self publishing. Very painless. Hopefully I'll get my book onto Kindle too.

As far as Literary Agents I can't help - AFAIK it's a case of writing a good pitch, doing a mail shot to the Agents who deal in your chosen genre and hoping it gets picked up

The industry 'bible' is the Writers and Artists Yearbook with contact details for all UK literary agents. Also, it tells you how to format your work, and has useful tips on how to get published. Choose carefully as each agent will specialise in their favoured genre and it will save you wasted postage and rejection slips to narrow down your list of agents to those interested in your type of work. Depending on where you are in your writing career, forums such as Writewords may be helpful.
