Sounds like they've made a car show during which they test cars...

A novel idea.

Thanks for the reminder, I'll stick it on series record...

Think Johnny might also be featuring Charlie from PPC & the epic Rover SD1 V12 during this series.

I though 5th Gear died a few years ago?

Monaco, Abu Dhabi? looks like 5 have upper the budget from 40p a show then?

What no 32 slow-mo shots from different angles of a ratty old Espace driving into something?

As you might guess, I'm not a fan.

Why not give it another shot? It's a new series, and we really need more car shows on TV or at least not having some removed, so viewers count.

Ok, I'll give it another go.

the last straw for me was when they had that tall guy on with the silly turn up jeans on (same jeans all series!)

X3 review, brilliant smile

Johnny shouting "sugar plum fairy" tickled me!

Was really good actually. Main criticism is that half an hour is nowhere near long enough.

It's finished and it's not even five to eight! Good show though - I liked the GTR, the team review format and that Rover was...interesting. hehe

Shame it can only be 20 minutes long.

Gave up with 5th gear but was at a loose end tonight so tuned into the new series. Got to say I was impressed, seems more focussed on the cars with a bit of light humour without all the Top Gear fake rubbish.

Credit where credit is due, well done to those 5th gear bods for turning it into more of a petrol head programme. I for one will be making a point to tune in for the subsequent episodes smile
