Storing Alloys

Any tips for storing alloys with tyres on?

I'm putting a set of 17/18" SP12's on the Griff for a while...bit of an impulse purchase from Power, in hindsight not altogether convinced it a good move, I'll be keeping the Estorils regardless, which are currenty in excellent condition, so need to store them properly.

Google search suggests...
cleaned and waxed..with what?
slightly over inflate tyres?
laid flat in a stack of four with card between each,
then covered with something non plastic to avoid condensation and keep light, dust, dirt, off.

I'll have to find space in the corner of Garage though I'm tempted to store them under the desk in my home office... or maybe I could make them into a feature in corner of the dining room...

Id store them indoors if you can. Ive got some alloys in my garage off the wifes bm. These were immaculate, but 18 months on a couple have started to bubble quite badly.

Clean & Wax; then warm dry them..

Get them vacuum packed, and then store in cardboard boxes (from a removals company), with packets of silica Gel, you can then be sure they'll be fine. I have some old Minilites stored the same way, still in perfect nick.
