I couldn't believe it! WHSmith in High Wycombe had two different watch magazines available on their shelves! I usually have a quick peak only to be disheartened ... The usual array of specialist trout fishing magazines, practical AM radio and tractor magazines are always available in abundance, but never any watch specific magazines.

However this weekend I found the latest copies of Watch World and QP (as well as the obligatory Evo mag biggrin) , the latter of which I haven't seen before. Both are quite expensive though ... £7! I've also purchased 'Chrono' on one occasion, but I haven't seen that stocked for months.

So, do you buy any watch magazines? If so, which ones?

Also, I have a copy of the Winter 2010 Watch World magazine, which covers the Harry Winston range, Greubel Forsey, and many other lottery winning pieces ... If you want it, let me know! I'll chuck in it the post for you thumbup

I think they are massively overpriced, and I learn so much more from online watch forums.

Yet I still buy them.

I bought the same edition of Watch World and also bought the current edition of QP, WW came from Sainsburys and QP from WHS.
Expensive but they're packed full of quality shots and have quite a bit of info - the 'net is ultimately a better source but I enjoy flicking through a mag.

Oh, get evo on subscription! Straight to your door and subscription only front covers as well yes
