Tyres with branding on side wall help
Discussion
Hoping someone could help me find where to buy tyres which have the name, manufacturer or model markings stamped / painted on the tyre side walls from new.
You see them on rally cars, off road cars and other motorsport cars.
I have, for the last couple of years hand painted 'Goodyear Eagle F1' on my tyres but they tend to fade quickly and are a pain in the ass to do, so i know you can get the pre-branded ones but where from?
I have asked a local garage but they said they only deal in shopping trolley car tyres and had no interest special ordering in such things
Help

To answer all those that have contributed with such knowledge and help.....
I have done this as i like the look of it and feel it compliments the looks of my car.
My car is white, there is little that breaks up the white other than black wheels & tyres and with the white lettering on the tyre side wall i think it looks good.
If you still have no idea, go buy this months issue of Japanese Performance Magazine and look at my car in there (6 pages worth) whilst pondering how to get 300MPG from your 1.5 Diesel shopping hamster.
To the few that know what i mean and have offered help, thank you

Every road tyre I have seen in my life has both the manufacturer and model/series on the sidewall. And the majority of track/off road tyres too.
Goodyear F1s have F1 goodyear etc written on the sidewall, am I missing something?
Yes, he wants it in a glorious white. The question as to why remains though.Goodyear F1s have F1 goodyear etc written on the sidewall, am I missing something?

Hahahaha really? Wow what a tosser.Just reread the OP. Why are you only concerned by the brand being shown? Surely you are interested in showing off a good brand? Or do you just want average Joe to think "look his tyres say the brand in White, they must be good?"
Must laugh once more. Hahahaha. Are you serious? Too late for April fools.

Harsh, he likes the looks of it, pretty subtle as far as mods go.Just reread the OP. Why are you only concerned by the brand being shown? Surely you are interested in showing off a good brand? Or do you just want average Joe to think "look his tyres say the brand in White, they must be good?"

You must be a Tosser too for driving an S-Line since it's purely an aesthetic thing. In fact, since you drive an Audi I'll take a wild stab and guess that he's probably more of a petrolhead than you.

He uses paint to do the white-walls so could possibly either sell you some or do the tyres for you.

What a strange request!
OP - Most of the tyres that have the writing in white are Motorsport tyres. They have this as it's obviously good advertising for the manufacturers and doesn't look out of place on a fully stickered up race car.
Bit OTT for a road car but, each to their own.
Look at Avon and Michelin slicks for example. No good for road use though.
This has to be a late April fool surely!

Its not just me that thinks there are too many f
kwits with too much time on their hands that think they will thread crap on anything and everything they can as their lives are that boring they have nothing better to do.I also drive a Mondeo Diesel that i have no desire whatsoever to paint the tyre side walls nor any other mod for that matter as it is about as exciting as the Audi that these cretins potter around in.
I started this thread as there are a fair few on here that like cars and into motorsport whare such things are used. I thought the knowledge from these people could point me in the right direction and some have!
As already said, thanks to those that have helped or suggested useful things!
f
k off to those that come and thread crap from having no life or desire to do so.marky911 said:
