How many "sensible" miles to bed in a new clutch...

changed with a mates help , and only a bruised thumb ,after i hit it with a hammer..

I'd take it easy until the end of your road. Then give it the beans.

They 'bed in' better with a damn good thrashing. Go for it.

Thumb should take about a week of 'light duties'.
