My Meta alarm fobs died last week. Not very happy at having to pay £650+ to replace the system. Then I found Carl Baker of Car & Bike Installations, www.tvruk.tv
He is a marvel, he got my alarm ecu recoded and supplied to new fobs for £150 on a 3 day turn around.
Great service and very cost effective. Wife loves me again, daughter can go to horse riding school after all!!

So if your alarm fob dies, why not give Carl a try. It worked for me.

Sacha that's not the same thing. The fob covers the alarm sending unit to arm and disarm.

Thus with this broken you need that sending unit replaced. Hence the problem which now thanks to Carl is no longer a problem.

sacha what they send you is an EMPTY key with fob button built in - into which you put the guts of your existing fob...
