Thought it might be worth making a thread to keep people updated on how much things are costing abroad this year. For example typical benchmark figures for the price of things. E.g. Local/Import Beer/Spirit from supermarket/bar/restaurant. Typical Main Course, Starter, Desert cost. Taxi per kilometer. Typical Transfer from Airport. Car/Moped hire. Even things you wouldn't think of like Jetski hire.

I know this isn't TripAdvisor but sometimes its soo bloody hard just to find the basic information that you want. Going magaluf with the lads this year plus a tbd somewhere for a relax so any information on that will be great!

Was thinking of making a wiki but I don't know how. P.S Any other metrics of prices you can think of?

Making a thread on a car forum for every price of everything in every country to make life a bit easier than using Google or asking for specifics as and when needed...

Do you work for the government?

biggrin

(PS General rule of thumb these days - expect everything to be more or less the same price as the UK. With the exception of a few places in Eastern Europe, some of the less well travelled places in S.America and the places in Africa you probably won't be holidaying).
