Just a hint, after the chassis has been repowder coated. Get some ACF50 and spray inside all the tubing. It is commonly used in sea planes for anti corrosion. It will dry leaving a protective film which stops electrolosis, ie rust. Dont know why factory never did this. Even linseed oil works well.
Well the chassis is back and looking brand new!! 

Although I was somewhat surprised to note the following.........

I thought the white filler was used just to smooth the cage and get a good finish for covering with the Alcantara.
Turns out it was to smooth the cage where it had been welded. Looks like the cage was assembled from shorter bent lengths welded to straights.



Still, I have no intention of ever rolling the car over so I hope never to test those welds out!!
