When I wrote off my Focus, I limped it to the next town (5mins down the road, country road in Wales).

When I had a knock in my Metro (nearly rolled it having a hoon on a quiet road at around 1am - would have been quite a spectacular accident if on camera), I finished my drive after having a look at the damage, and figuring it'd get by. Then drove it around with no front bumper in town for around a week before a replacement bumper arrived and I could get it fitted. Didn't carry out any major repairs to it until it failed the MOT on rust 9 months later, but then it didn't seem to have taken any substantial damage.

I had one incident while out for a drive in the wet, down to lift of oversteer and inexperience really. Held the first 'slide' before it swung the other way into a ditch. Flat tyre and the exhaust fell off. Drove out the ditch, put the spare on and noisily limped it back home.
