Hi,

I want to fit a set of these onto a MY00 Carrera 4. Any idea if they go straight on or whether I'll need spacers etc?

Thanks

What, the 17 cups or the 18 inch speedlines?

They are much wider than the standard C4 rubber. I'm not sure they'd bolt straight on, or even fit in the arches too well at the rear. Best is always to find a set for sale and go around with a wheel brace and try them for size.

I'm having Turbo "look" II 18" wheels fitted to my 996 C4.
If you are talking about the 996 Turbo (original fit) wheels I don't think they fit the narrower C4 but only fit the wider bodied cars C4S etc.

I think they should fit as it is not the wheels that are wider on a C4S or Turbo but the body, I have 295,35,18's on my C2 Cab and my mate has the same size on his 2003 Turbo with the same wheels as you guys are on about.
hope this helps

Sorry, when I said the T2 wheels were much wider, I was referring to same model year C4 wheels. If they are 295 then this may only be a tad bigger than standard 996 C4 rear tyres... 275? Good luck, but always best to check in situ.

I thought the standard tyre for a carrara C2 or C4 was a 285? as I have said mine has 295's on the back and I was told by my OPC that this was one size up from the standard? Does the C4 come with 275 as standard (is it becuase it is 4WD??)

The C4 has 225s on the front and 265s at the back as standard as far as I know...

It was more the wheel width that worried me. The standatd C4 has 9.5 wheels for the rear, but the Torbo II wheels are 11s. You can get Turbo II "look" wheels that are 10s for the rear.

I will bow out as I guess you aren't talking about 965 Turbo 2 alloys, which is what I thought Turbo 2 commonly refers to. I presume you mean 996 Turbo, second design. In which case I am completely lost

996 Turbos and C4Ss run on 295/30 18 tyres, not the 35 profile.
