New 6-series prices....

Just had a look at the prices for the new 6-series, was slighty taken aback that the SE starts at £60k!

Why is it so expensive? I'm sure the older one wasn't that much. Its more than double the cost of a new F10 5-series and more expensive than a 7-series. Also why no diesel option anymore?

I was thinking it might make a nice used buy in a few years, but unless it nose dives in value it's a very expensive car for what is essentially a 5-series coupe....

Thats EXACTLY what I said and got shot down.
Remember in 2007 at vines in surrey seeing a new 3ltr conv up for 66K .

At least £6k off at at Broadspeed.com, does not look good for value after 3 years.
