HI all

My names Seth and im from London. i just picked my M3 couple days ago. its not my 1st i had e36 evo and e92 sparkling graphite grey which to this day i regret ever selling.and iv had few bmw's in the past.
So after test driving a few cars i decided to get right back in the M'S and here what i picked up

After i sold my M3 i brought a SL55 AMG from the dealership and within minutes i already had problems the car was not in good state mechanically and the multi point check was not done properly after a few days i manage to get a full refund back and iv been put of from the SL's.
I was looking into the c63 but was not impressed with the gearbox and felt it wasn't as solid as the M3

So here i am back with another S65 and plan to stick with it!!!

Wow, what colour is that? How does it compare to the E92?

Love the colour of the first M, love the second M but not a fan of the colour I'm afraid - each to their own though thumbup

Out of interest, how long did you have the SL. I'll hopefully be in a position to buy something nice in a year and current top of the list is a Z4M Coupe or an SL55 - would preferably like the convertible so the hardtop of the SL makes more sense than the softtop of the M Roadster since I live in London and I think a softtop could get damaged too easily by some jealous twunt frown

i owned it for 3 days 2 of the days it was sat in my local dealership as they were trying to help me figure out whats wrong with the car they were on my side from point 1.

sl's can be quite problematic i only wanted to buy from dealership because of reassurance that the car had warranty and because of the multi point check

when i went to collect the car within 5 minutes the car was giving me issues there was a secondary whine coming from the engine so along with supercharger there was second, it sounded as if the power steering pump was on low but the steering was fine

the car had no power it was running without the supercharger

cut the story short the multi point check was done right, because when i collected the car i was told the pads have been changed all round and when i looked at my copy of the multi point check which was done 2 weeks before they had passed everything and it was the independent MOT tester who found the fault. so from that i threw the multi-point check out. also the car has 2 battery's and 1 was flat

at the end i was given a full refund and i was put of the SL'S from there

What colour is your new convertible, is it a standard colour or an "individual?" Personally I think the colour is utterly vile, but of course its down to personal preference. Are the seats two tone? Is that white stripe thing standard?

Many congrats Seth.

I've walked past that E93 many times on Park Lane and always admired it. The colour looks great.

Is it Sepang Bronze..??

Probably a good reason for that laugh

Seriously though, it will be unique!

Looks great. The colour will be marmite, but IMO it makes a nice change from black/white/red.

When selling, it'll be one of them "I MUST have that colour/I MUST NOT have that colour".

Enjoy. Got the right weather to make the most of it too! smile

Lovely car and great colour mate. As said earlier, at least you've thought out the black/grey/White box!

A few opinions on the colour could have been kept to themselves, but you won't stop em on PH mate

Congrats on the purchase mate

I looked at your E92 on PH classifieds a number of times (v tidy car and a good price) but in the end I went for my CS, I'll be going for an E92 next year.

Undecided about the colour in the photos but would like to see it in the flesh, but congrats for going for something a bit different!

Hope you enjoy that soundtrack with the roof down over the summer.

Why is that? Are comments on here only limited to positive ones?
