Cattled Alternator

My alternator stopped functioning at the weekend - battery light remained on, and no charge output whatsoever (voltage of 12.6 volts at the alternator output). I think the regulator is knackered, so need a new one!

It is a POWERMASTER 8003, does anyone know of a UK supplier to buy spare parts from?

Try Real Steel. I replaced my PowerMaster unit with a nice shinny one (only because it was the rating I wanted through).

i had my alternator repaired...New reg and £20 later i was running again.. only a thought

Yes get it repaired!
I am considering going to the 8002 which is higher rated due to all the goodies I am bolting on to my car. Would be looking for a home for the 8003 if I did it. hmm you might persuade me.
