Want a few days away, Want to go tomorrow

Was thinking madrid,
Just want a few days away, get a bit of colour, chill out, relax and recharge the batterys

After anywhere which is hot and ideally a hotel with a roof top terrace and a bigger bonus would be a rooftop pool or outdoor pool

What you've described is a Canary island, and then thought about Madrid You'll get no colour in Madrid and if all you want to do is relax, there's no point being in a hustling modern European city.

I'd suggest Tenerife - weather's lovely out there at the moment, the food and beer is VERY cheap, and the climate is great. Pool / beach and ipod - perfect.

Not sure about it being cheap!!! I was out there last year for 2 weeks cost me a fortune!! 6/7 euros a pint if i remember!!

Where on earth did you stay?

I went last year in March and friends just got back last week also. Restaurants were cheap as chips - €15 for nice meal a head, and beers were certanily not 6/7 each - more like 3.

My budget is around 400/600 for flights and hotel
Spending money 400ish
So about a grand in total

You will not get a flight.
Acommodtion will be expensive.
Its likely English will not be at thier most welcome!

Cheap, and always a it warmer that anywhere else.

I was also looking at the Hilton Vilamoura, some good deals on there too at the min
