Photobook question

As far as I know all photobooks have paper pages inside, like a book.

Are there any suppliers who do them with thick rigid cardboard pages, like a traditional 'album'?

Have you tried Loxley?

I've not used them but they're well regarded. This "Artemis Delos" product seems to be a halfway house to what you're looking for: http://www.loxleycolour.com/default.aspx?id=311

When I went to scout a wedding venue last year there were several photo books around from other photographers, pretty sure one or two of those were as you're describing so might be worth a word with your local venues to see if any of them have the same. Could also work as an introduction to new venues?

Thanks for the ideas Andrew. However Loxley looks like a trade-only place and I'm looking for somewhere where my customers can go direct.

AFAIK Loxley allow direct custom, once registered.

Just did a quick search for you on TalkPhotography and Graphistudio seems recommended:

Graphistudio says: 'When brides click that button we pass back details of photographers in their area that offer the Graphistudio product. We do not ever deal with the clients directly.'

Fortunately it seems the couple concerned are going for Photobooks after all, phew. Really don't want to get bogged down with albums.
