Just been browsing Totalkitcar and came across these www.lightninglooms.co.uk/
Might give a better look than just telltale lights.
Also on there was a piece on Gardner Douglas selling brand new LS6 engines to builders other than GD customers for around 7K
400 hp as standard, doesn't mention anything about 'cats' though.

Hi Graham, according to the article on GD in last months which kit? the total package including the loom and ecu would come to about 9k. I spoke to Andy at the factory about the ls6, he says the mountings are different to the iron block and would need the chassis to be altered to get it to fit + you would need cats as well because it's a new engine. A shame really cos i fancied one as well. ....Dave

A company here in the states called Transdapt (www.tdperformance.com/) has adapter plates to place an LS series engine into a SBC location without any other mods.

Dave, yes would've been nice, but a tad expensive for me. Just that it was injection that interested me, I hear that British American Engines are doing some form of injection. Does anyone know about this setup?

Clive, what a nice position to be in, no doubt you've been asked this question before, but here goes anyway, 'whats the next project'?

Clive,
Good thread, took some time to read!
But what are you going to do with the Chevy engine?
