At first I thought Stoner was being a whiny b
h, but then I can recall having similar banter with friends after some "heated" karting. All makes for good theatre in my opinion! Rossi was big enough to make the apology, Stoner was accepting but obviously feeling hard done by quite rightly.
Blatantly a racing incident, but it will fuel their rivalry no doubt.

It wasnt said with any kind of humour at all.
He had every right to be upset, but It wasnt some ridiculous banzai move, it was a good one that didnt quite work out. I'd guess Rossi was even more p*ssed because he would almost certainly have won without it
I thought Stoners comment showed a complete lack of class, though not surprising where he's concerned I guess

He is a bloody fast rider though, its great the way he goes out early in a session and nails a quick time while everyone warms up lol.

As someone pointed out in the bike forum...if Stoner had actually managed to do his job and get rid of the front end woes....he wouldn't have been taken out! A splattering of irony involved!Still it was a gutsy move, one that Rossi should have known wouldn't stick given his knowledge of how little grip the front end has! You had to feel sorry that the marshalls ignored Stoner and just helped Rossi!! lol But even so.....he is still a cry baby!

Rossi agrees with you, though I don't think he dragged the media along. They would follow wherever he goes. More so knowing in this instance why and where he was going. Slade Alive said:

I don't see how it could be...they are very quick to turn the engines off as if a bit of gravel got in it would be dead within nano seconds! especially as they only get 6 engines.Imagine the noise, and Stoner looking like he was going to jump on and ride off. I think Stoner's hugely talented with a lovely missus too. I also think that the media did what they did with Schumacher when he went to deck DC after their Spa incident...followed a certain story....and Casey didn't disappoint them either!I would think Casey sees this as round 1 to him, as he was grinning from ear to ear whilst delivering two very cutting comments, whilst a very sheepish, helmeted Valentino took his reprimand like a naughty first year visiting the headmaster office.
Lets hope the Ducati and Valentino are up to speed very soon. Gentlemen let the games begin.
