**Insuring two cars**

Does anyone know if you can insure two cars on seperate policies but still use your no claims bonus on both cars???

Although if you are with a broker they may be able to mirror your NCB against another policy, i know that A-Plan will if you ask nicely and have 4 years and meet a couple of other criteria.

OK, to save someone getting outraged and complaining that I've upset a newbie here's the official line.

If you are looking to insure two mainstream vehicles then the NCD can only be used on one of them.

However if the second car is more specialist and likely to be used less, then there are some brokers who will mirror your NCD on the second car thus effectively giving you NCD on both cars. By "specialist" I don't mean a blinged up Saxo btw, it needs to be something worthwhile.

Admiral's multicar might be orth looking at, although I don't claim to understand the nuances of that policy.

If one can be classed as a classic, you could mirror the no claims with a classic policy. That's what I did with my Mk1 MR2.

If you have a policy with another company, admiral will let you use your NCB with them for a second car.

source: me, had a skyline with A-plan and a shopping car with Admiral at the same time.

you can't collect both as NCB though :/
