Broke dont fix it,this should be adhered to with our cerbs me thinks.On saturday i thought it would be a good idea to blow out and check our black box selection in the boot.Good idea in theory,took em all out one by one,checked em all,blew ste out of em all,and hey presto yeah you got it the drivers window decided to do its own thing.Press door release and door opened minus window drop,and to make things worse i shut door to see how close glass is to window stripHence the little chip on the carbon trim.Anyways i open boot check connections and all is fine,check window the same,wiggle wires on box and now window works fine.Next step was to put box back carefully and leave alone.so i acheived feck all apart from a small chip,and twenty wasted minutes.:DWhat more fun can you have without peanut butter a hedge hog and a partly inflated blow up doll;)

We have a word for this in Germany: kaputtreparieren (break things by repair attempt)

Sounds like one of the cables is knackered, so you may consider looking at it again?

If it was all working before hand and you are confident that you have re-installed everything correctly, might be worth disconnecting the battery as this will reset everything?

Have the alarm fob handy incase is goes off.

Could have been worse, you could have gotten the plugs mixed up (quite possible on the door/window box) and blown the thing up.
