Advice on potential (forced) change of career.....

OK, I don't post on here very much - tend to lurk more!
I find myself in an altogether unique and unwelcome situation - I'm currently employed in Education in Audio Engineering but as to how long I remain there will unfold over the next few weeks: dreaded redundancies.
At 37 with a fair bit of music/tech-related experience (at Pro level) with a hefty side-order of Education & Training and Management skills (and qualifications), I really don't know which way to turn.
I've been very lucky since I joined the working world, as I've been head-hunted, with no real interview nor CV experience. I have created one that conveys my skills etc, but I don't really know what to do with it.
Any suggestions as to what I do next? I've got LOADS of skills (mostly useful!
) but no real avenue to promote them to employers.
