Which rear springs ?

Need to replace both rear springs on the 328

Just going to get ones from Eurocarparts - but no idea which to get

I know the E46 used different springs depending on type and spec - mine has a pink stripe on the current springs

The springs are £32, £46, £52 or £61 each so there is a bit of a variance and they all say they fit "M52B28 / E46 Saloon" except the £52 ones which are "E46 Heavy duty"

Does an auto 328 saloon with quite a few options count as "heavy duty" ?

The HD ones might be for cars spec'd with factory towbar....

BMW ones £200!

Don't want to go aftermarket, pattern stuff will be fine.

Can I just assume the ECP ones will fit fine? I don't know how much real variance there is between the different spring types, and neither do Eurocarparts

For about £130.00 you could get a full set of 4 Eibach springs that will be far better quality than the Euro's offering even if you only installed the rears. Getting springs from a specialist spring manufacturer would be far better than getting them from a motor factor who cannot even identify the correct ones.
