Getting started! Immobiliser?
Discussion
Evening all,
Just wondering if anyone has had/heard of this before;
Every time I go to my Tuscan it never starts first time, but the second! Please read on.....
If I simply click the alarm off and get inside (within 15 seconds!), I know if I turn the key the fuel pump(?) wont prime, and obviously won’t turn over, but if I turn the alarm back on and then off again it starts fine (and then I can hear what Im assuming is the fuel pump prime, which I never do the first time).
Anyone heard of this before?
I’m assuming it’s the immobiliser, but just thinking its a strange one as I've never known an electrical fault to be so consistent!
Cheers,
Brad.

Thats not a fault there is a 15 second timer from disarming the immobiliser to allow you to get in and start the engine, any longer than this and you have to press the key fob again or use the immobiliser key in the socket on the dash.
Sorry, should of mentioned, it doesnt matter how quick I get the key in the ignition.Gassing Station | Tuscan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
