What convertible....

Howdy all. Having just sold my better half's Z3 3.0 sport I now need to make a decision on what to replace it with. My budget is around £ 15000 or so, maybe slightly above. Shortlist is...BMW Z4 3.0 sport, Z4M, Porsche Boxster 3.2S 986 or possibly a Boxster 3.2S 987 (2005). I also looked at the anniversary model Boxster but I'm struggling to get my head around the cocoa interior!! The Honda S2000 is out as she isn't keen! Any others I have missed out or any thoughts on the above?? I had a 2000 Boxster 3.2 a few years ago and must admit I did like it! All replies appreciated!

What does she want it for? cruising in or driving? At the softer end of the scale you'd get a nice mk2 SLK 350 for that. At the harder end you could get an Elise. Obviously things like the Boxster and Z4 sit in the middle somewhere.

I wouldn't want to park my backside in an Elise to and from work - nor get in and out of her in the car park........... Mine had the "padded" seats and it still wasn't comfy. Great for twisty lane driving, but not good for dual carriageways/motorways etc..

Her didn't say she commutes on a dual carriageway.

I've commuted in mine for the last four years without really seeing any drawbacks and I know a girl at work who did more than 25 miles to work every day in hers, and that was an S1. It just depends on how pathetic you are, I suppose.
