justtheticket - New Malden

is where I took mine last year. I had a problem with the lamda sensor, they told me to take it away get it fixed and they retested it for free.

The guys were kind, courteous and very cheap (don't let that put you off though).

Understandably they are very busy.

Just spotted the title. Might wanna try TVRfix.com 10 minutes' drive south of Tolworth down the A240.

Do they actually do MOTs there? Or are they like most mechanics they sub it out to the local test centre?

Drop it to Mole Valley and jump on the fast train back to London? They'll drop you off and pick you up doing the reverse.

Never had any issue in 9 years with them getting through MOTs.

I can second that. Mole Valley have always done a good job on my M400. Time your return on the train carefully however as they only go once an hour from Ockley (Mole Valley's nearest station).

Go to Horsham - you get one ever 10-15!

The cafe there on the London Platform (1?) does yummie bacon sarnies and great coffee for that morning lift as well, and Mr. Lift Man will sit in the car park in the Smart so you can't miss him on the return.

Mole Valley don't seem to be very good with 2.5's

I would NOT recommend them
