Mini coupe thingy spotted

Hey guys, was stood at the bus stop today (park and ride) and a rather strange mini drove past me. Unfortunately i wasn't quick enough to get a picture of it but it was on trade plates with the funny swirly paint all over the back half of the car. Now it looked like a coupe sort of version of the mini, funny looking thing really. Looked as if it could also potentially have a folding hard top roof. Has anyone else seen one of these or heard of them?

A colleague of mine saw one on the M40 last week and said it looked very odd (even when you take out the swirl patterns).

There were a couple near Woodstock on Tuesday, with swirly wrap on.

Can't say they looked appealing.
