Not a clue! And that is not a horse....

Seriously, I don't really like the National for betting. There is very little room for any reasonable analysis. Anything can happen.

Personally, I am going to have punt on whatever horses are ridden by Ruby and McCoy, then some each-way long-shots.

Waste of time betting on the national, almost a toss of a coin!

My first two have come in on todays accumilator, Big Bucks & Nacarat. Now just need Denman and Baby Run to come in! Worried about Denman though, grounds not very soft frown

We should start a betting thread. All listing what we are betting on over the week. Be it Dogs, Horses, Football, Boxing or anything.

Or would people only post when they win? wink

It works quite well on a few other forums I use.

I think it is a wide open race tbh.

can't bet against AP doing it again but top weight.

my flutter would be comply or die, nicely weighted, previous winner and murphy has ridden him to win before....

otherwise its a pinsticker I reckon

I have been (and I'm still here) working in the City Centre today, and all I can say is the Grand National; encouraging turds to roll in glitter since 1839.

I've got my money on "Becauseicouldntsee" (should please the grammar nazis). "Calgary Bay" and "The Tother one".

I only make small bets so the odds have to be pretty high.

I backed Mon Mome to win with £3 at 111-1 a couple of years ago.

Got last year's winner "Don't Push It" in the work sweepstake! Apparently it is too fat now though.

Don't analyse it then!

I've put money on Silver By Nature, odds suggesting it has a chance (one of Clare Balding's tips), and it's the only Scottish horse running so a patriotic choice. I've put money on West End Rocker for the missus, purely because she liked the name of it, as good a reason as any with the National!
