If anyone has one in good or reconditionable condition I've interested after finding a manufacturing defect in one of mine (doubt it's anything else due to the location).
I did put a post on nobleparts in relation to this but it seems no-one checks the site that often.

Cheers,
Rob

Surely as it's a common problem with the manufacture of the wheel, it's something that the factory should be doing something about?
I've had similar dealings with Audi over clearly faulty wheels and they replaced all affected FOC on a 10 year old car.

lol good luck with that...

worth mentioning the replacement will probably develop the same flaw... replacement is the answer smile

Exactly, but that would indicate that they're clearly not fit for purpose!

As for replacements, I have been trying!!

there is one on ebay have you dismissed this?

Lee wasnt interested in sorting the issue when original owners had issues so unlikelly you will get any joy.

Got to admit I hadn't even looked at eBay. I'm not at all surprised by the comment about not being interested the first time round either.

Still desperately need a rear wheel please, I will consider a whole set of 3R/M400 wheels if you prefer.

Just driven 160 miles to collect the wheel above, only to find it's cracked worse than mine frown

Slight thread diversion (sorry) but where do these cracks occur and are they easy to spot? If one of you have a pic of a "typical" cracked Noble wheel it'd be handy to know what to look for.

Lining up a few track days over the summer and would like to check my wheels over first...

TIA, Dave

Hi Dave, the crack has appeared between a bolt hole and out between the spokes.

I filed the area down to check whether it was just the lacquer or the whole wheel that has cracked but no such luck, it's terminal frown
Have now decided to go the Compomotive route as it looks like the Rotas aren't going to happen.

eek ...nasty, but should be easy to spot; I'll have a close look. Thanks for that.

Nicksy's running on those and they do look good on his car; not badly priced either.

They wouldn't have been my 1st choice for the Noble but there isn't another option that I know of for under about 2-3k.

There are Image wheels as per previous threads: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

They do a lot of different styles:

About £1800 for a set of cast centre 3 piece true split rims...

Compomotive will do any offset you like but not an 8.5 wide front unless you want to buy 60 of them!
Otherwise it's either 8 (too small) or 9 (will require wider tyre and will rub on full lock) but the rears will be as per Noble spec.

Have you tried the original GTO wheel AZEV Design E?

They make them in the correct sizes & offset.
