I saw the banner earlier for Magnificent Motors. ( http://www.visiteastbourne.com/magnificent-motors/)

It seems a bit of a rip off for the people who want to park their car on the field.

I thought it was going to be £20 from your post! How much does it cost to park in Eastbourne normally, compared to that it's probably a bargain £2 for the day.

If I fancied going (and the car wasn't in pieces) I wouldn't worry about it one way or the other for £2.

That parking is quite cheap compared to on-street in the town. Things is the location this year is right down the other end of the seafront miles away from anywhere really. On the western lawns you were right next to the beach and very close to the town centre, cafe's, Ice-cream shops, Towner art gallery, theares etc etc

From what I understand from the site. "people" parking is either on the street parking or the car park opposite princes park.
If it was at the other end of the seafront it's easier to find free parking.
£2 sounds alright if you have a place to park.
It's just not right for the people who want to show off their classic car by paying £20 to "enter" the "exhibit".
gotta love quotation marks :P

I think that is aimed at the commercial traders who may want to put up a stand as it mentions '£20 per square meter for both days'

I am organising a group of TVR members for the Sunday & there is no charge,we don't even have to pay an administration fee to the organisers this year as there has been extra volunteers come forward thumbup

Princess Park? nothing classy about that place its why we put the gypsies down there.
Whole area is free car parking and bugger all to do there. All you've got is fort fun or the sovereign center for a swim while the local scallies from the nearby council estate eye-up your car.

To be honest I dont give a flying hoot about the wedding which I'm sure many others will be hosting similar events. Instead I will either be hooning or working underneath my car :-D

Fort Fun has gone bust owing the council £50k in rent so can't even do that even if you wanted to.

Yes, that's Treasure Island. Fort Fun is still going.

Not too far to walk to the Military Museum, but it was much better on the lawns.
