In fairness, the dog looks embarrassed to be with her!

I'd say to her what I'd say to anyone hankering after cosmetic surgery who wasn't hideously disfigured: It's society's problem, not yours.

Well, it;s not hard to figure it out. Liverpool accent, and doing botox in her 20's. She's bound to be a bit of a weirdo.

Isn't botox unlicenced for cosmetic use, still requires a prescrition, and can only be administered by a doctor?

If so how do people still get away with this.

She looks very ugly BTW

No, Botox is licensed for cosmetic use in the UK but it does require a prescription, though can be administered by anyone, unfortunately. Most people who give the injections are completely unqualified to do so, and are beauticians and nurses. They usually have an arrangement with a local doctor for them to write the prescription for their patients. In my view the only people who should be administering it are people who deal with those areas of the body with regularity, ie surgeons and perhaps dermatologists.

Botox is pretty safe in terms of toxicity and we (eye surgeons) have used it for 40+ years for treatment of squints and facial spasms. It was noticed by an eye surgeon that his patients with facial spasm lost their wrinkles after treatment, hence a billion dollar industry was born. The main problem with it is the lack of care and and knowledge by most practitioners who use it, which can lead to problems.
