I'm a bit of a car park weirdo, you know the ones who don't want their car getting damaged so they park as far away as possible from the store in the middle of an empty car park, I'm one of those.

So when I walk out of said shops and there's another car parked in the middle of an empty car park but in the space right next to mine, what on earth is that all about? biggrin

I can only assume they're fking with me for being an anal little so and so but if not.. just WTF...

They can't park using the white lines alone, so use your car as a reference...

Sheep mentality. On the other hand, they might feel their car is less prone to getting attention from vandals/theifs if it is parked near other cars. Or they are just st at parking and need another car to line it up correctly.

yes I had this last night at the pool - I parked t the far end of the car park a fair walk from the pool, tucked right up against a curb, and I come out and find a Micra right next to my car. I'm sure it's an inability to park!

On another note, OP: you just add an s to make a plural, so it's "weirdos" wink

I park at the far end as well. Seem to attract the 4be4 full of kiddy seats or the Matiz with paper thin drivers.

I used to be like that, but then I realised my car had more bloody dings than ones that just park where they want due to pricks thinking they'd park next to me anyway.

So anyway, I am now in the breed of parking on the end of a row of cars with your wheels well over the line, my next plan of action is to just blend into the crowd and hope for the best.

I usually park on the end row slightly over the line.so far on the latest company hack I have managed to keep it dentless. I cannot stand any dents at all, last time I got one, I tried to forget about it,but it was always on the back of my mind,so twice I have had to pay for them to be removed, 50quid each time, but it was worth every penny.

Last week I have spotted not a dent, but a very slight kinda of press on the boot crease of my car, everybody at work think I'm mad and can't see it...but if you look carefully in the light, there is imperfection, another 50 pound.

Some of you might find this weird... But if I see a decent car clearly owned by a petrolhead thats parked in a normal space I'll usually try to park next to it regardless of if I'm in a stbox to protect from the morons/spazzes/dheads/clumsy children..

Funny this is I bet they usually think I fall into one of those categories hehe

I'm one for parking at the far end of a car park. And the same thing happens, I walk back to my car to find another one parked in the next bay, sometimes leaving little room for me to open my door.

Remember the advert were the guy drives around looking for a space in an empty car park? He gets out and as he's walking away, a satellite drops onto it.

Having said that if I see another XJ8 I try to park next to it, simply to enhance each others cars.

I've just moved offices to another part if the site and it means using another car park. I however park in an area which is furthest from any office block so is quite empty - the same (the cleanest and best kept) cars are in this area every day so I think we all have the same idea. I don't mind if one of the cars I recognise from this area parks next to mine because I know they have the same intentions.

It's the same sort of people that come and pick the urinal next to you despite there being a host of empty receptacles for their piss-as opposed to trying to hit my shoes- you bds.

Still at least they don't follow you to the other end of the car park like some artless bint who pulled up next to me at the far end of an almost totally empty car park- seeing she was very close and had a kid in the back I reversed out went elsewhere and got on with my life.

I came out of the shops to find her parked right next to me. WTF you pasty faced sprog spitter fk off somewhere else............and she'd put a mark on my door. bh.
