I have seen a deal on a new unreg Mini Pimlico (Cooper D variant) with the chili pack (list @ 19.5k)

I have been really struggling to find out any info on what the Pimlico is other than...

- it is a particular blue
- in production for 12 mths
- has clear indicators
- has Pimlico badging

basically i have been trying to deduce whether or not it is better (financially) to go for the pimlio one or just spec out a regular cooper d!?!?

I am totally new to Mini and it is for the better half so any help would be appreciated smile

Sorry, no direct experience.

From what I found you get the following

Exclusive Laser Blue metallic paint (previously only available for the MINI Cooper S and John Cooper Works) 15" Twin Spoke (2GA) alloy wheels for the MINI One/One D
16" Twin Spoke (2GC) alloy wheels for the MINI Cooper/Cooper D
Piano Black interior trim Black Bonnet stripes (MINI One/One D)
Black Bonnet stripes / White Optional (MINI Cooper/Cooper D)
MINI Pimlico special edition badging*
White indicators

The value of this is minimal over a standard Cooper IMHO - the paint will save you a couple of hundred. The decent stuff comes in the Chili Pack which is still an extra.

So only a good deal if

a) you like the colour / stripes etc
b) it is cheaper than an equivalent Cooper

I have had a couple of these limited edition minis as courtesy cars and most only have e Pepper pack which means two spoke steering wheel and manual air con. Unless you really want the Cooper S colour I can't really see the benefit of buying one.
