Jaguar AJ V8 engine

I have tried a good amount of searching but don't seem to be able to find any figures for the dimensions or mass of the AJ V8 engine. Just that it is compact and light for its power etc.

I am considering buying one for a project and trying to figure out if it is conceivable to transport it in an E36 Touring. I haven't managed to get a tow bar fitted yet so can't use my trailer.

Any information on the engine in any state of dress would be great as a guide.

this may have been suggested before but have you thought about a ls1?

im sure it will be lighter, smaller and cheaper than the AJ.

plus allot more scope for tuning.

ive seen a few e36's with ls1's and they fly.
