Changing tyres on a hot hatch?

Hi guys, I'm looking to change the 2 fronts for my Clio 182, I had Toyo T1R Proxies put on a year ago and they are wearing thin. I was hoping to get a little more wear out of them, but they've only lasted around 8,000 miles but that really is the only issue, otherwise its a brilliant tyre.

What other Tyres would last longer but be just as good on the road?

Just replaced the fronts on my Clio 200 after 17,000 odd miles.

As above. PE2's were designed for the 182 and they are superb. I wouldnt consider using anything else.
