I have to take a few people from work away on a Jolly for a few days, and this years chosen venue is Ibiza. Im looking to stay somewhere very nice rather than just a typical hotel ( somewhere like P&K stayed in the recent vacationx3)
any recomendations would be greatly received. Ideally somewhere funky / luxurious with good facilities and not too far removed from the decent ( not SA) nightlife. I.E Walking distance to good bars and restaurants.
we've lined up a yacht for a day which should be pretty good fun, any other tips on things to do gratefull received.
TIA

Ocean Drive Hotel 4/5* which is right opposite Marina Botafoch, where you have probably rented your boat from.Tel +34 971 318 112
Ibiza Grand Hotel 5* just along the road from Marina Botafoch. www.ibizagranhotel.com
Hotel Mirador de Dalt Villa 5* Placa d'Espanya,4 Tel:- +34 971 303 045 info@hotelmirador.com
Atzaro 5* which is where Jude Law stays & other celebs out in the countryside agroturismo@atzaro.com
I live on Ibiza and have eaten at both Ibiza Gran Hotel & Atzaro and the food is excellent,Ocean Drive is always buzzing and I don't know about the Hotel Mirador except that it is in the area around the old town and the old area called the Marina which is always buzzing with little bars and restaurants.
Hope that this helps.

Just to avoid misleading you, I think Il Vaticano may have taken a turn for the worse based on some internet reasearch I did over the weekend (thinking of paying the isle a visit September for the first time in a couple of years)... My point remains tho - sunset over San An and some decent grub is lovely way to spend an evening!

Have you thought about Playa D'en Bossa?
Space is on your doorstep, Pacha just up the road and it's nowhere near as
as San-An, [edit to add, pi key is a swear word...really?]
I'd recommend the Migjorn - recently turned into luxury apartments and very nice, I stayed there last year and would stay again if it weren't for the prices in August, still, would definitely go back again. I'm staying at Hotel Garbi this year which seems nice too Alternatively, try the new Ushuaia hotel for absolute luxury (just been done up this year).

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but for a 'luxury holiday' with colleagues I'd think D'en Bossa is rubbish!!
... I love the resort and have stayed there all five times I've been to Ibiza (and will probably do so again this year) as for us it's usually a clubbing holiday with a few days spent enjoying the finer points in life... It's got some nice hotels for sure, but most of the Restaurants are s
te (we nearly always walk to Figueretas for food these days if staying fairly local) and there's not much else to it other than Space, a couple of bars and and a house-music mad beach - it's got no culture to speak of and doesn't feel at all Spanish!
I see it as being for grown-up club-heads who want to party all day and night
... unless your work-mates are just that I'd say Ibiza Town is a much better choice to keep everyone happy!

Good point to be fair, I thought of it as the OP was looking for a decent hotel in a lively part, in which case Bossa would be good, but if it's luxury you're after - then yea Ibiza Town would be a good shout! ... Like you say, if you want a decent hotel and party nightlife it's a great call - we got upgraded to a brand new 5 star once, right on the beach complete with a 360 on the sand in front of our balcony - call me a peasant, but it felt like something straight out of Miami Vice!
