Cracked cylinder head coolant rail

Yep, managed to crack my RH cylinder head coolant rail, either that or it's rusted through.

Thought it had split an o-ring so bought a set to replace them all but on closer inspection it was leaking from where the front pipe joins the main pipe.

Is this a shame or are you happy cos it could mean some shiney new bits may wander into engine bay,hope your rad looks ok too

Mine cracked around the weld. Re-welded it fine though and no problems since.

am sure ive seen some at about 170 squid on my internet travels.£450 thats a gulp from me,i normaly just think well i need it.you can get an alloy rad for that money and surely theres much more work etc in that.It cant be the material cost cos look what you can buy rear exhaust for?
