Just thought I'd share my love.
Finished my Mini in the week and just took it out for a REAL drive and yeah I love it. Amazing. Needs fuel already though, 20mpg is average for the extra things I've put in.

Now I wait for the

But I don't care, this car is making me so happy. Proper money pit.

I think love is too strong a word but I would be very upset if mine was ever crashed or stolen.

I know how you feel. When I finished work I took the roof out of my MR2 and took it for a hoon.

It was a bit of a dog when I got it and is the lowest power engine in the range but it's still a cracking thing to drive on a beautiful day.

I took it round the country roads on the twisties, and everyone was right. It's actually like driving a go-kart.

Amongst the sea of misery on this site recently, threads with a happy theme are particularly satisfying. By the way, I love mine too and long may it continue.

I'm going to take some good pictures soon, these were taken with my iPhone.

  • I've fixed the seats now as well, they don't lean into each other hehe
They're from a Rover Tomcat if anyone cares.

Good times. cool

Easter holidays are here in between copious amounts of paperwork I'm hoping to extract my Mini from it's winter slumber.

Especially with this weather!

I am happy for you, you have your car sorted and it goes well. thumbup good luck with it.

But please don't say it handles like a go-kart, it doesn't.

It's a figure of speech, it's not actually like a go-kart.

I really non't want to mess with PSBuckshot's thread but you do realise that a kart and a mini power different wheels. A kart is RWD and a mini is FWD.
Unless of course PSBuckshot's mini has been converted to RWD, but I do not think that is the case here.
