AP Brake Caliper Refurb Help Required

Hi All
I have been servicing the brakes on my 1999 4.2cerb, new goodridge hoses, new Ferodo DS2500 pads, brake fluid change etc and have a problem & question you guy's hopefully can help with.

1. I have broken the inside bleed nipple trying to undo it & the outer bleed nipple on the same caliper has stripped it's thread, can anyone recommend a refurb service if this is possible or a supplier for a replacement?

2. Before I start I wondered what your different suggestions for bleeding these AP Racing Calipers would be ?

A decent machine shop will drill the bleed nipple out for you. I had to have 3 of mine done... Otherwise you can use spark erosion.

Regards the bleeding - no different from any other system. Start with the further calliper from the brake master cylinder (NSR) and work back towards the cylinder ensuring that you get all the bubbles out.

As above....get yourself a Gunson Eezibleed kit - under £20 on fleabay....I bought one a few weeks ago...filled & bled the whole system in under 10mins.....bloody marvelous bit of kit
