Scimitar MV6 (nearly)
Discussion
Hi folks, I've just joined up and thought this might be a suitable place to say hello and show a few pics of the car.
Its in many many bits at the moment, in the process of having chassis parts replaced with stainless steel. An LPG'd MV6 is waiting in the wings to donate its noisy bits. I'll post lots more pics in the Scimitar section of the brake upgrades and suspension etc.
Here's the car when I'd finished making a set of new bumpers for it. can you tell what the front bumper was?

The other car worth talking about is the supra, which will very shortly be put on ebay.

Whoa whoa whoa! That is too f
kng weird - currently sitting in my garage awaiting restoration is a GTE. Guess what engine is going in it? Yep, an omega lump.
Not that much of a coincidence I hear you say? Well guess what car is awaiting sale to fund said restoration? :

I would be VERY interested in seeing a build thread on the fitting of the MV6 if at all possible? Just a few pics and words on any particularly tricky/unexpected/custom bits involved would be much appreciated :-)
BTW - Are you in the RSSOC?
ETA - You've got me on the front bumper - what's it off? Looks bloody good.
ETAA - What's suprastick?

Thanks PLamborghini
The bumper is a rover 45 something or other, and half the original scimitar bumper, I'm in the RSSOC, there's a pretty extensive thread on there of the project so far.
The suprastick is an electronic gismo that allows me to change gear manually, in a sequential format, taking control of the auto box. The supra is an auto and I don't like autos, but it was cheap, so I fitted the suprastick, its pretty cool, I did a massive thread on it here:

I might have gone a bit OTT.
When I've finished work and started on the car again (this weekend or monday), I'll put all the info so far in the scimitar section (cut and pasted from RSSOC) and post all future work on there and here.
The car is in a lot of bits at the moment, so the engine is some way off, but i'll photo all the work. Burtle has done this before, (think he was first) and there's loads of info here:

Thanks Mr Dave, I'm not sure how best to seel it, It'll go quick on ebay, but it might not be much money, or I could hold out for offers, its a tricky one. It is in perfect condition with the exception of the cruise computer and the engine is slightly blue smokey. otherwise its in in really great shape, I mean it is a minter, NO NO NO rust ANYWHERE which is pretty rare for a mk3.
I'll put a link on here to wherever I end up selling it. Thanks for the comments folks.
