Camping Fridge - Absorption Cooler
Discussion
After a bit of advice on camping fridges, I am looking at buying an absorption fridge for my trip to Le Mans this year, usually I have gone in a camper van but will be using a tent for the first time this year.
I am really worried about keeping myfood beer chilled, I have noticed that most of the portable fridges only chill to -10 below ambient temperature whereas the absorption fridges can do up to -30/-35 below ambient temperatures
Does any one have any experience of them, I have been looking at the Dometic Combicool RC2200:

I have had that same fridge for 5 years, the last 2 as overflow fridge in the house.Big enough for most things and portable enough to put in the boot for supermarket visits.
Never used ours on gas but 240 and 12 volt work fine and cools well enough in 40 degree temps we get down here.
